Technical Art
Almost all video games are built on various forms of technical art, such as shaders, lighting systems, animation rigging, and implementing assets into the virtual environment. Through my coursework and project experience, I’ve developed a great understanding of the intersection between programming and fine art.
Audio Production
Building on my musical and technical experience, I have learned to craft coherent auditory experiences ranging from music to sound effects to voice acting. I have used this ability to create musical compositions of varying genres and aesthetics, both for published video games and personal audio projects.
Software Engineering
Digital games are, well, digital. Game developers need to learn how to use computers to create entertaining and challenging experiences. By creating video games, I have learned a great deal about Object Oriented Programming, Version Control, Project Management Styles, Coding Best Practices, Cloud Services, and Web Technologies.
